Hawk Gets Buzz On, Talks NASCAR
Chicago, IL- Hawk Harrelson had a few beers the other day and, "started up with the NASCAR crap again," said Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle.
Harrelson was allegedly bothering both players and coaches near the batting cage prior to Thursday's matinee with the Cleveland Indians.
"You wouldn't think he'd be so intoxicated so early in the day...but you know Hawk," mentioned a coach who asked to remain anonymous.
Harrelson reportedly claimed that his likeness adorned the Rusty Wallace Miller Lite car "like 25 years ago."
Hawk was eventually asked to return to the booth and given a bottled water.
